Shepherd’s Inn South Fork Rainbow Day

The Snake River Cutthroats is helping sponsor the Shepherd’s Inn South Fork Rainbow Day.  The goal of the tournament is to help Fish and Game remove rainbows from the South Fork and help protect our native Cutthroat Trout.  The details are as follows:

Awards and Food:  Awards will be presented after fish counting Saturday at the Huskies Boat Ramp.  Food will be served starting at 4pm sponsored by the Snake River Cutthroats.

    Most number of fish, all rainbows and hybrids count

    1st Place – $300

    2nd Place – $200

    3rd Place – $100

Biggest Rainbow – $25

Biggest Hybrid – $50

Biggest Overall $50

Smallest Rainbow or Hybrid – $50

Fish and Game will also be present to check for their Money Tags as well.

Registration: $25 per person or $65 for a 3 person boat

Pre-Registration required by April 26, CASH ONLY

Registration Locations:  Sportsman’s, Idaho Fishing Outfitters, or Jimmy’s All Seasons Angler

Note:  This is an individual competition not a team event, everyone is welcome.

Any fish you don’t want to keep will be processed and donated to the local homeless shelters.  Any fish not edible will be used by fish and game as bait for their bear studies.  All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Shepherd’s Inn, a pregnancy resource center located in Idaho Falls.
