Join the Cutthroats for a great Fly Tying Demo and a cold beverage with Hal Gordon at the Tap N Fill 1494 Milligan Rd, Idaho Falls on Tuesday December 17 at 7PM.  Hal is an local expert with extensive time fishing both the Henry’s Fork and South Fork of the Snake river. He will be tying his most effective patterns for these waters!  Enjoy a great beer and see some very innovative fly tying up close and personal.

Hal Gordon is a retired Agricultural Economist with USDA-NRCS and worked on fish, wildlife and conservation issues in the 13 western states. Hal has been a fly tyer/fisher for over 50 years, and has taught numerous trout, steelhead and classic Atlantic salmon fly tying classes.  Hal is a Life Member of the Fly Fishers International and Trout Unlimited and an elected board member of the FFI Fly Tyers Group. Hal is Tyer Co-Chair for the Eastern Idaho Fly Tyers Expo and Tyer Chair for the Oregon Fly Tyer Expo. Hal has been awarded the FFI Oregon Flyfisher of the Year 2018 and the Fly Tyer of the Year 2010. Hal currently lives in St Anthony, ID and fishes the Henrys Fork area at least 2-3 days a week.
