Russ Thurlow is an Emeritus Fisheries Research Scientist with the USDA-Forest Service, Rocky Mountain Research Station. His research focuses on informing the conservation and restoration of native fish populations and critical habitats in the Intermountain West. Russ has studied Central Idaho’s salmon and steelhead for more than 40 years and he has worked extensively in the Middle Fork Salmon River drainage.
