Mike will be discussing Winter Fishing in SE Idaho. Not so much a focus on where and how but a general outline of how to dress for the occasion, tips to keep frustrations down, tips for keeping hands and feet warm for an extended day in the cold, water type to look for, and feeding habits of wintertime trout.
Fly fishing has been apart of Mike’s entire life. Mike learned young and fell in love with it young. Fly tying came quickly after learning to fly fish and has become an obsession all its own. Mike has a beautiful wife and two kids that probably wish he didn’t fish as often. Mike manages Idaho Fishing Outfitters so you’ll usually find him in the shop. Mike really enjoys picking apart small, spooky water or feeling an aggressive tug on a streamer. The time with friends and family means no bad days on the water for him.
